Get Set to Jet Set

With your flights and hotel booked, the luggage is now the only thing left to organise. The battle of how many shoes to pack versus one, modest size suitcase can get your head in a spin. When travelling, regardless of where you're going, keep in mind the activities you'll be getting up to and the temperature/ climate. Travel light by packing perfect essentials you can use for multiple purposes. Lay out your clothes on your bed so you can visualise certain outfits and roll them for easy storage.  Take into consideration comfortable walking shoes for long walks/ sight seeing.
When heading somewhere tropical this is my go-to:

- A day outfit, something perfect for lunch or shopping
- A great pair of sunglasses, something with metal detail to give it a luxe feel
- Outfit for pre dinner cocktails
- Something chic or breezy for the evening
- A great sunscreen and skin care products
- A scarf that can be worn on the plane for when it's cold and to dress up a casual outfit
- Accessories such as a belt, jewellery and heels that can easily transform a day outfit for night.
- Travel garment steamer (trust me you need one of these)
- Most importantly, stylish luggage that is renowned for it's quality and light weight, sturdy design. My favourite is Samsonite and well worth investing in.
The Cosmolite FL above is so light but durable, I have peace of mind my clothes and valuables will be well secured in the case. I can't say I trust any other brand when it comes to transporting my belongings. Check out the full range www.samsonite.com
Safe travels and enjoy your holiday.

Travel - Trump International Central Park

3/1/2015

Impossible Beauty. I am immediately in awe of the room, correction it's not a room it's a luxury suite and it exceeds all expectations. My New Yorker friends say the lounge room is larger than their whole apartment. I find myself closely inspecting the handcrafted Schonbek crystal chandelier trying to find dust but there is none. This place is flawless. The Trump International is a multi- billion dollar architectural masterpiece and carries a reputation behind the name; luxury, comfort, opulence. This was the first of the Trump hotels to be built 18 years ago and Ivanka personally oversaw the refurbishment. Offering floor to ceiling windows overlooking either the picturesque Central Park or the bustling  streets of Broadway. Pamper yourself at the exclusive guest-only- use Trump spa with an array of treatments and enjoy a scrumptious dinner at the three Michelin star restaurant Jean Georges, this takes hotel fine dining to a new level. The service is spectacular, the staff are accommodating and the amenities are impeccable. The hotel just adds to the experience of visiting New York City, arguably the greatest city in the world.

Travel to Qualia

I was recently fortunate enough to travel to the world class luxury resort in the Whitsundays. Qualia provides a sense of peace and tranquility at this adult only resort in Hamilton Island winner of Conde Nast Travelers Best Resort in the World. Situated on 12 hectares of beautifully landscaped grounds, there is a feel that no expense has been spared. Be greeted with a cool towel, welcome cocktails and breathtaking views over the coral sea. This resort will not disappoint.
