Ellery's Spring Summer collection had a distinctly youthful and fresh feel. Kym has always leaned towards designing a collection for the confident woman and these pieces were no exception. Feminine neutrals in matching shades came down the runway as well as overlapped layers in different textures that added depth. Her consistent palette of black and white incorporated evening metallics with attention to detail on stitching, luxe fabrics and statement buttons. Drawstring waists added a different dimension and billowy, silk georgette dresses and voluminous flares highlighted the signature Ellery form. Remaining genuine and consistent with the brands DNA, Ellery's design sophistication has led her to be the third Australian designer to be invited to Paris Fashion Week. She is the perfect mixture of quality and creativity proving her designs to be timeless and precisely executed in flattering cuts and silhouettes. This is one fashion and art collaboration that has the nod of approval and the envy of other fashion designers.
